With just under two months to go before its opening, the Cannes Yachting Festival looks promising. From 6 to 11 September, Europe’s largest in-water show will be the first international nautical event of the season. For 6 days, under the sun of the French Riviera, the most beautiful jewels of the seas and world premieres, the latest nautical equipment, the most upmarket services and numerous innovations will be unveiled to the delight of visitors.
“Thanks to the renewed confidence of our exhibitors, this 2022 edition is shaping up to be a very good one with forecasts similar to the previous year, i.e. 550 exhibitors and 140 previews. The number of boats is increasing and we hope that we will get closer to the 640 units exhibited. Our visitors will have the pleasure of discovering nuggets afloat and ashore, of all sizes and types, equipped with “classic” engines or looking to the future with the first on-board electric, hybrid or hydrogen propulsion systems,” explains Sylvie Ernoult, director of the Yachting Festival, and continues, “We are pleased to support our exhibitors in their eco-responsible development by helping them to highlight their innovations, thanks in particular to our “Green Route” trail and the “Innovation Village. Little by little, the nautical industry is improving its environmental footprint and we are following suit by also developing our eco-responsible commitments within the framework of the organisation of this show (e.g.: less paper, better waste management, etc.)”.
ANTIBES BEST OF YACHTING is the edition chosen to represent the BEST OF YACHTING collection and will be shown in the PRESS VILLAGE of the show, located in the PALAIS: you are welcome!
